SUMMARY:Designing EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) schemes for textiles
DESCRIPTION:free webinar on Thursday 20th November at 14:00 – 15:30 GMT (London\, UK) \nWRAP is hosting a webinar to provide guidance on key elements and principles for designing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes for textiles. We decided to host the webinar on the back of the revised EU Waste Framework Directive that was finalised in September 2025\, which mandates that every EU country must adopt an EPR scheme for textiles by March 2028.  \nThe webinar is primarily intended for policymakers/governments and PROs (Producer Responsibility Organisations) that are responsible for designing\, implementing and operating the EPR schemes\, but the content will presumably by interesting to most types of stakeholder. The webinar will be delivered as a collaborative effort by the global environmental action NGO\, WRAP\, and Policy Hub\, the circularity for apparel & footwear initiative that drives significant change to shape ambitious and implementable European policies which reflect the complexity of the textile sector.
