Darryl Wolski is the Purchasing Manager for Merlin Plastics. Merlin Plastics is a processor of post-consumer and post-industrial plastics. We process PE film scrap (printed and non-printed), rigid plastics such as post-consumer blow molding high density polyethylene (eg. milk jug containers, oil containers) and polypropylene, as well as PET (eg. soft drink containers) and industrial scrap from commodity resin to engineering grade across Western Canada.
Darryl’s career history is broad, covering various specialties in solid waste and recycling over the past 18 years. Starting his career with the City of Airdrie as the Solid Waste Coordinator.
Darryl was one of the cofounders in the startup of e-Cycle Solutions, an electronics recycling processor in Airdrie, AB. During his tender at e-Cycle he became the Director of Commodity Sales. He facilitated the partnership of the provincial stewardship programs, OEM customers and ICI clients from coast to coast. Darryl ensured that all final commodity types that were sent for further processing adhered to the provincial and national requirements.
Darryl was on the Recycling Council of Alberta for 10 years and served as president for 2 of those years. He was an elected Board Member for the BCMB for 3 years, and has worked with a wide variety of local, provincial and national boards.
