Alberta Recycling is accountable to the Minister of Environment and is run by a multi-stakeholder Board of Directors, ensuring active involvement of industry and other stakeholders. Created in 1992, Alberta Recycling manages its recycling programs within two divisions: Tire Recycling Alberta and Electronics Recycling Alberta.
