Albertans join charities across Canada for Giving Tuesday

Millions of Canadians expected to participate in Giving Tuesday this holiday season.

In partnership with CanadaHelps, the Recycling Council of Alberta in conjunction with its partners Diabetes Canada, Goodwill Industries of Alberta, the Salvation Army, and Habitat for Humanity have been selected to participate with charities across Canada in the sixth annual Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Considered the “Opening Day of the giving season” it’s a time when charities can rally for their favourite causes.
