Call for Nominations to the RCA Board of Directors
Do you think more needs to be done to reduce waste and build a circular economy? Would you like to influence recycling policy in Alberta? Do you get inspired working with other enthusiastic people on meaningful resource conservation-related projects? Then the Recycling Council of Alberta needs you!
If you want to be part of Alberta’s strongest waste reduction voice, the RCA is looking for skilled individuals knowledgeable in the recycling industry who are interested in joining our Board of Directors. Download a description of what’s involved in being a RCA director.
The RCA is interested in strengthening and building our board to ensure a broad and diverse skill set. In particular, the RCA is seeking candidates who are skilled in the following areas:
- Finance and accounting
- Risk management
- Strategic planning
- Board governance
- Succession planning
- Knowledge of environmental policy
- Government relations
Directors of the Board for the 2020-2023 term will be elected at the RCA’s Annual General Meeting at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, to be held virtually via Zoom.
