SWANA Northern Lights Chapter – Managing Recycling Systems online training in December 2021

SWANA Northern Lights Chapter (NLC) has run a number of well-received training courses in their online virtual classrooms (via Zoom).

There are still spots available in the Managing Recycling Systems course that is being offered in December 2021. This 3-day course will be held on December 2, 7 and 9, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Mountain Time each day.

This course focuses on recycling materials found in municipal solid waste (MSW) generated from residential, commercial and institutional sources, not including hazardous wastes, household hazardous wastes or special wastes. The course provides information on successfully planning, developing, marketing, and managing recycling programs. Managing Recycling Systems also addresses collection, processing, application of end-use standards and protection of human health and the environment.

To participate in online training, you will require a computer, video camera and internet connection. If you are taking these courses for CEUs you will be required to be visible via video camera.

Check out this and other currently available courses at https://swananorthernlights.org/training/all-courses/ where you can register as well. For more information, contact info@swananorthernlights.org.

Please submit your course registration with plenty of lead time so SWANA NLC can ship the course manual (book) to you. If you register less than 10 days before course begin, they will do their best to ship your course manual out to you as soon as possible, however, please be aware that it might not arrive in time for the course.
