Update from the Electronic Recycling Association

A message from the Electronic Recycling Association

The Electronic Recycling Association is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of e-waste and the increasing ‘digital divide’. For the past 15 years, ERA has offered simple solutions to help individuals and organizations prevent operational equipment from premature destruction. With a focus on recovery, refurbishment and reuse, ERA continuously supplies charitable groups with donated IT equipment while securely managing the retiring IT assets of organizations and individuals across Canada.

WE are looking for your help.

Currently, we have over 200 charities waiting on a donation. Our goal is to fulfill these donations by the end of 2019. If you are an individual or company who cares about the environment, wants to give back to your community and would like to make a difference we would love to work with you. We will collect your old devices and ensure that they are data wiped. Once we have refurbished your donation we will donate to one of the organizations from our wait list.

Also, we are delighted to inform the public that our headquarters will be moving to a new location in Calgary (803 48th Ave SE). We will holding an official opening on April 22nd 2019 (Earth Day), media and the public are more than welcome to attend. To celebrate Earth Day and this our 15th year anniversary, we will be accepting drop off donations of laptops and computers and in return we will be shredding your personal and sensitive data for free.
