Grande Prairie Offers Green Bag Recycling Program for Nespresso Capsules

As of September 22, Grande Prairie residents are able to recycle their Nespresso capsules in a green bag placed on top or beside the blue bag collection system. 

This partnership with Nespresso Canada and Aquatera Utilities, Inc., the company that sorts recycling for Grande Prairie, shows Grande Prairie’s commitment to sustainability and EPR.

Grande Prairie is the first municipality in Alberta to participate in the Green Bag program; though it is in place in more than 600 municipalities across Canada.
