2025–2026 RCA Sponsorship Opportunities Are Here!
The Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) is excited to share our 2025–2026 Sponsorship Package, offering multiple new and returning ways for your organization to support our mission and be recognized as a leader in advancing the circular economy.
We continue to make progress in our mission toward a waste-free future and 2025 is the first full year of our Vision 2030, the implementation of our strategic plan to advance the circular economy in Alberta. You may also be interested in the R-ladder, a tool we shared recently to help rank material management strategies based on how circular they are.
In terms of engaging with us in sponsorship, our sponsorship package includes four options: Annual RCA sponsorship, a Municipal Membership + benefits, conference sponsorship and à la carte opportunities. We hope these options meet your needs but if not, feel free to reach us directly to discuss custom options.
Conference sponsorship
The 2025 Recycling Council of Alberta Circular Economy Conference is set to launch at the stunning Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge from October 22 to 24. This year’s theme, “Shoot for the Stars” will take us to space to expand our horizons and envision a future where waste is no longer in our orbit, and circularity becomes our gravitational centre.
In the past three conferences, the RCA has attracted an average of 375 attendees from across North America. The top five categories of attendees were corporations, municipalities, non-profits and small businesses with individuals, institutions and government participants in attendance. There are many opportunities to make sure your business is top of mind for attendees as an annual sponsor with recognition at the conference, or as a conference sponsor. We’d like to acknowledge the support of all sponsors to help build the quality of the conference year over year.
Municipal Membership +
We have heard feedback that municipalities want a new way to support the RCA and so we’ve created an option that includes an annual membership and some of the same benefits sponsors receive so that a municipality can invest in the RCA differently. See the attached package for more info.
Explore Circularity Day (ECD)
The RCA’s inaugural ECD was held in Edmonton on March 10, 2025. Once a year, the RCA will host ECD to explore a circular economy topic in greater detail. We have custom sponsorship opportunities for this event, which we plan to hold again next spring with a focus on textiles.
