ECCC Food Waste Webinar: Feeding knowledge, cutting waste: The influence of food literacy on household food wasting in Canada

Join FoodMesh for a webinar exploring the complex relationships between household food wasting and food literacy. Drawing on a recent report commissioned by Environment and Climate Change Canada, this session presents key determinants of household food wasting and highlights reduction interventions that have been pilot-tested in Canada within the last five years. A panel of researchers will discuss the drivers, barriers, and trends influencing household food waste generation and share their perspectives on how we can further our understanding of food wasting and design effective policies, programs and initiatives to reduce household-level generation.
