The Creative ReUse Project is dedicated to reimagining waste as a valuable resource for creativity and education in Calgary. Inspired by ReMida, the creative recycling centre in Reggio Emilia, Italy, the project aims to transform collected retail, industrial and commercial surplus or waste materials, otherwise destined for landfills, into resources for artistic and educational initiatives through the re-circulation of materials to schools, early learning centres, artists, families and individuals. The Creative ReUse Calgary Project is an initiative of the not-for -profit Calgary Reggio Network Association and Common Digs.
