Description

A non-profit society with membership from the community, County, town councils and chamber of commerce. Oversees operation of recycling depot and forwards recommendations on waste minimization to the town and County councils.

Services Offered

Depot accepts cardboard, cardboard and plastic milk containers, all paper, newsprint, phone books, cans, all plastic containers, glass, plastic bags, oil cont./filters, computers, print cartridges, all electronic equipment, fluorescent light tubes, toxic materials, and all batteries (rechargeable & non-rechargeable). Operates school paper pickup program & office paper programs. Provide composting workshops, school programs and Take It Or Leave It program.
