Board Opportunity: Recycling Council of Alberta

The Recycling Council of Alberta is currently seeking a Board member to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors.

In accordance with RCA bylaws, the Board may appoint a replacement director to serve until the next Annual General Meeting in Fall 2026. This appointment helps ensure continuity in governance while maintaining strong leadership as RCA continues advancing circular economy initiatives across the province.

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring Alberta municipal experience and governance expertise, along with a strong interest in supporting collaborative solutions that move waste out of the system and strengthen Alberta’s circular economy.

Key details:

  • Application deadline: April 15, 2026
  • Appointment timing: Early May 2026
  • Term: Until the Fall 2026 AGM (exact date TBD)

Individuals who previously applied for the RCA Board are welcome to re-apply for consideration.

Serving on the RCA Board is an opportunity to contribute strategic leadership and help guide an organization that brings together government, industry, and community partners to drive meaningful change in waste reduction, recycling, and circular innovation.
