If you want to be part of Alberta’s strongest waste reduction voice, the RCA is looking for skilled individuals interested in joining our Board of Directors.
The RCA is committed to strengthening and building a diverse board with broad skill sets. We are seeking candidates who:
- Have strong industry connections in the retail and commercial sectors
- Understand what motivates consumers
- Have knowledge and experience in marketing
- Are skilled in strategic and succession planning
- Understand environmental policy, board governance, and risk management
- Are experienced in finance and accounting

The election of Directors for the upcoming term (2023-2026) will take place during the RCA’s Annual General Meeting, scheduled for October 18th, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the picturesque Lake Louise, Alberta during the RCA’s annual conference.
If you’re enthusiastic about this opportunity, we encourage you to reach out to Jeannie Bertrand, President of the RCA’s Board of Directors, at jbertrand@dillon.ca. Your involvement could be the catalyst for transformative change in waste reduction and circular economy advocacy.
