Fire Destroys Edmonton Waste Reduction Facility, Architectural Clearinghouse

Hello RCA Members,

We are sharing an important update on behalf of the City of Edmonton Waste Reduction Network about one of their long-standing members and a cornerstone of Edmonton’s waste-diversion community.

Architectural Clearinghouse is a family run business that has proudly served Edmonton and the surrounding area since 1988. They are focused on salvaging/reclaiming good quality building materials, contributing to waste reduction in the construction industry. They have been an active member of the Waste Reduction Network since its inception.

On August 20, 2025, a fire tore through their warehouse destroying not only their building but their entire inventory. This is an incredible loss for their family, Edmonton, and the waste reduction community. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
