Last Chance to Register – Explore Circularity Day in 3 Days
The countdown is on — Explore Circularity Day 2026 (#ECD2026) is only three days away.
Taking place March 19 in Calgary, Explore Circularity Day 2026 will focus on Textiles in Alberta’s Circular Economy. Leaders from industry, government, academia, and community organizations will come together to explore practical solutions for rethinking how textiles are designed, used, reused, and recovered — keeping valuable materials in use and out of landfill.
The one-day conference will begin with an overview of the circular textile value chain, followed by four engaging sessions:
Trailblazers: Spotlight on Alberta Circular Textile Leaders
Exploring the challenges and opportunities facing Alberta’s textile circularity leaders.
Innovating Toward New End Markets
Highlighting innovators leading exciting projects in Canada’s evolving textile ecosystem.
Popcorn Debate: Individual vs. Industry Action
A lively discussion exploring practical solutions and responsibilities at every level.
The Path to Extended Producer Responsibility
Examining what businesses, municipalities, and other sectors can do now to help prepare for a potential Alberta-based program.
The day will conclude with a networking reception, giving participants the opportunity to connect while exploring exhibits.
Bonus Events: March 18 Community Day
The conversation begins one day earlier with a series of community-focused events in Calgary, including:
- Self-guided tours of textile circularity initiatives
- A Discover Textile Circularity Open House
- Screening of the documentary “Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy”, followed by a panel discussion
These events invite the broader community to explore textile circularity in action ahead of the main conference.
We look forward to welcoming you as we connect across sectors and advance circular solutions for textiles in Alberta.
