Registration is now open for the 2026 RCA Circular Economy Conference, taking place October 21–23, 2026, at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. 

Under the theme Catch the Wave, this year’s conference reflects the growing momentum behind Alberta’s circular economy and will bring together leaders, innovators, businesses, municipalities, policymakers, producers, recyclers, and community organizations from across Canada. 

As Alberta’s premier circular economy gathering, the conference offers opportunities to learn, collaborate, and advance practical solutions that support a waste-free future. 

ATTEND IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY 
For the first time, the RCA is offering a virtual attendance option for select conference sessions. 

Virtual registration includes access to seven main-room plenary sessions taking place on Thursday and Friday, providing an opportunity for participants who are unable to travel to still engage with key conference presentations and discussions. 

Whether you join us in Lake Louise or online, you’ll have access to valuable insights, expert speakers, and conversations shaping the future of Alberta’s circular economy.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION 
The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is offering special conference rates starting at $299 per night (single occupancy, plus applicable taxes and fees). 

To receive the conference rate, reservations must be made by September 19, 2026, subject to availability. 
Rooms normally sell out so book early to ensure a room.  
After this date, any remaining rooms in the conference block will be released and higher rates may apply. 

Conference attendees can reserve online through the conference website or by calling Fairmont Reservations at 1-800-441-1414 and referencing the Recycling Council of Alberta Conference room block.
