Tickets Now Open for Big Shot 2025 – Alberta’s Circular Pitch Night

On November 19, 2025, the Recycling Council of Alberta will host Big Shot, a live pitch event at Edmonton Unlimited showcasing Alberta’s leading circular innovators. 

Five selected entrepreneurs will present their circular business ideas to an audience of “Big Shots” — attendees that may include potential investors, partners, and community leaders — who will vote for their favourite pitch. The winning presenters will earn recognition and the opportunity for a featured spot at RCA’s 2026 Circular Economy Conference.

  • Tickets: $10 (RCA members) | $15 (General public)

Two Ways to Get Involved: 

  1. Attend: Be part of the audience, connect with innovators, and cast your vote for the top circular pitch. Your ticket includes admission, pizza, refreshments, and a front-row seat to Alberta’s circular future. 
  2. Pitch Your Idea: Are you an entrepreneur, community leader, or innovator with a circular product, service, or business model? This is your opportunity to showcase your idea, gain feedback, and compete for recognition.
    1. Application Deadline: October 28, 2025 
    2. Accepted applicants receive a pitch coaching session with entrepreneur and pitch coach Colin Christensen.
