New RCA Member Feature – Last Shot Apparel
The RCA is advancing a circular economy in the province of Alberta. As a non-profit, charitable organization, we accomplish our goals by working collaboratively with and for our members and partners.

Last Shot Apparel is a newly established 100% recycled, Canadian-made apparel company. The reason for this company’s establishment was to find a way to reduce the unnecessary textile waste caused by the fashion industry. It was statistics like: “North America produces 10 million tonnes of textile waste each year” – that called Last Shot Apparel to action.

Last Shot Apparel products are all made from deadstock material sourced in Canada. Deadstock material is the material major fashion brands and fabric factories will throw away. They purchase this fabric and produce t-shirts, long sleeves, reusable totes, toques and more. In the month that they opened, they had the pleasure of working with local companies, events, towns and municipalities in Whistler, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and more.
