RCA and SAIT Students Work Together on a Circular Economy Literacy Project

Connector May 2025

The RCA was honoured to work with a group of dedicated and passionate Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) students on their Capstone project and to attend CapCon 2025.

Their project, titled “Our Future is Circular,” features practical suggestions for advancing circular economies and will be posted soon on the RCA website.

Our future is indeed circular, but it’s also shaped by students like the SAIT Capstone team and other post-secondary students who are using their passion, knowledge, and creativity to solve complex, real-world problems to make our world a better place. The Capstone project is the team’s final project. Please join us in celebrating their graduation from SAIT and if you are hiring, we encourage you to connect with them.

If you or your organization are interested in working with post-secondary students on Work Integrated Learning Opportunities, contact RCA Operations Manager, Jim Gordon (jim@recycle.ab.ca), to learn how student-led projects can benefit your organization.
