RCA Member Spotlight – Amici Enterprises Ltd.

The RCA is advancing a circular economy in the province of Alberta. As a non-profit, charitable organization, we accomplish our goals by working collaboratively with and for our members and partners. This month, the RCA is proud to spotlight one of its members – Amici Enterprises Inc.

Amici, which means good friends in Italian, was incorporated in 1991 and began working on a reusable pallet wrapper. Amici is striving to find new economical, environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic stretch wrap, packaging products and other shipping containers.

Amici has developed a patented and award-winning product named the Envirowrapper. The Re – Usable Pallet Wrapper ^TM is a product which aims to help industry reduce costs, waste, and damages by providing a reusable, repairable and recyclable alternative to single-use stretch wrap.

One of the most common product transportation methods is placing items on pallets and then applying single-use plastic stretch wrap to reduce shifting or toppling. This low-cost way of shipping products adds up over-time as this plastic can only be used once and creates large amounts of plastic waste.
