RCA New Members Spotlight: ReCORK, Ketek Group Inc., and Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT)
The Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) is on a mission to advance the circular economy in Alberta. As a dedicated non-profit and charitable organization, we’re proud to work with a growing network of members who are transforming waste challenges into resource opportunities. Today, we’re excited to welcome three new members to the RCA network: ReCORK, Ketek Group Inc., and Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT).

ReCORK
ReCORK was founded by Canadian footwear brand SOLE in 2008 and quickly grew to become North America’s largest natural cork recycling program. With the help of an extensive network of Collection Partners we’ve collected more than 130 million natural wine corks for recycling to date.

Ketek Group Inc.
From their headquarters in Alberta and offices across Western Canada, Ketek Group provides services and rental equipment to clients primarily in the oil and gas, construction and municipal sectors.

Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT)
The Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT) seeks to promote the implementation of a circular economy for post-consumer plastics in Québec and throughout Canada. The CPT aims to improve the alignment between end-market needs for recycled resins and the recycling value chain, by identifying and implementing concrete optimization solutions that can be deployed in the short- and medium-term. The CPT is lead by Cascades, Danone Canada, Dyne-a-pak, Keurig Dr Pepper Canada, the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC) and Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ).
We’re proud to welcome ReCORK, Ketek Group Inc., and Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT) to the RCA network. Together, they bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches that strengthen Alberta’s transition to a circular economy.
