EPR Municipal Transition – Free Webinar

Do you have questions about what the transition to EPR might look like for your municipality? The RCA, Alberta Municipalities, and Rural Municipalities of Alberta are teaming up to present a webinar on preparing your municipality for EPR.

Join us Wednesday, April 20 to learn about the process of transitioning to EPR, including issues like service contracts and infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions and hear from your municipal peers in other jurisdictions about their planning efforts and experiences in undertaking the transition from municipal to producer responsibility.  Guest speakers who have already implemented EPR will share their experiences and lessons learned. You will also hear from speakers gearing up for the transition as they discuss what they are doing to prepare.

The workshop will be moderated by The City of Calgary’s Jason London, a long-time member of the RCA’s EPR Project Team, and introduced by Leah Seabrook from Strathcona County.
