New Members This Month

Connector September 2026

The Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) is pleased to welcome three new members who bring valuable experience and perspectives to Alberta’s circular economy community.

All West Transfer Station

All West Transfer Station operates a licensed Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste transfer station that receives, sorts and transfers waste materials to approved recycling, recovery and disposal facilities.

By supporting the sorting and movement of materials to appropriate downstream facilities, All West Transfer Station contributes to the broader waste management and resource recovery system. We are pleased to welcome All West Transfer Station to the RCA community and look forward to connecting through future events, learning opportunities and conversations around advancing waste diversion in Alberta.

Rob Morphew

RCA also welcomes Rob Morphew as a new Individual Member. Rob is an Environmental Professional (EP) and has more than three decades of experience in safety and environmental work with a long-standing involvement in waste diversion and resource management, Rob is no stranger to the RCA and joins as an individual member bringing valuable practical knowledge with him. We look forward to his continued involvement and participation as we continue advancing waste reduction and circular economy solutions across Alberta.

Heidelberg Materials

Heidelberg Materials is a leading cement manufacturer committed to creating value from materials that would otherwise be discarded. Through the responsible use of alternative fuels and recovered raw materials, they help divert waste from landfills, reduce reliance on virgin resources, and support Alberta’s transition to a more circular economy. As we spotlight industrial circularity through the 2027 Explore Circularity Day we are excited to have Heidelberg Materials join our membership.

Cardwell Grove Inc.

Cardwell Grove Inc. is a consultancy, lead by Usman Valiante, specializing in the design of regulatory institutions and commercial strategy for a circular economy. RCA is excited to have Cardwell Grove join our membership and their work to strengthen policy, strategic planning, regulatory development, and their understanding in Alberta and beyond.
