Fashion Takes Action (Canadian Circular Textiles Consortium)
Fashion Takes Action (FTA) is Canada’s leading non-profit organization advancing sustainability, circularity, and social responsibility within the fashion and textile industry. Through education, research, policy engagement, and collaborative projects, FTA works to accelerate the transition toward a more circular and regenerative fashion system in Canada. The Canadian Circular Textiles Consortium (CCTC), led by FTA, is a national multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together industry, government, academia, NGOs, and innovators to advance circular solutions for textiles in Canada. The consortium focuses on key areas including circular design, policy, infrastructure, citizen awareness, research, and innovation to help reduce textile waste and build a more coordinated circular textiles ecosystem.
