RCA Team Volunteers for Calgary Pathway Clean Up

Connector September 2020

Continuing with the plalking spirit of 2020, a group of Recycling Council of Alberta members joined forces in the Calgary Pathway Clean Up on Sunday, September 20. The crew of volunteers tackled a pathway along Nose Creek in NW Calgary.

You may recall, from an earlier article by RCA president, Jodi Tomchyshyn London that plalking is defined as picking up litter while walking.

The surprise finds from the trip were a large office chair, a kids play-set chair along with more common items such as cigarette butts and plastic wrappers.

Thanks to the efforts of the team and the rest of the YYC Pathway Clean Up organizers for keeping the community clean!
