It’s Time to Get Ready for 2018!!!

Do you have a special project or event happening in 2018? Will your project require an extra person or two to help get the work done? Would you like an energetic and motivated student to help you conduct a survey, waste audit, or field research? Do you need a hand in the office conducting research or a creative mind to help develop waste reduction programs? Are you considering an outreach program to educate Albertans on a recycling initiative? If you answered yes to one or more of the above questions, then an RCA Summer Ambassador is a cost-effective way to hire staff for what you need!

Every summer the RCA hires a group of responsible, energetic and environmentally-minded post-secondary students to carry out important waste reduction projects. Ambassadors are available from the beginning of May until the end of August and project duration can vary from one day to four months. Past Ambassadors have supported municipalities with events reaching out to residents about their recycling programs; office and field research; and collection, sorting and data entry for waste audits. Other projects have included phone surveys, recycled material collection audits, and public outreach at community events all over Alberta.
