Each contributes to advancing circular economy practices through innovation, operations, and community engagement.

Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR)
The APR is an international organization focused on improving plastics recycling through design guidance, technical resources, and industry collaboration.
Their work includes design guidelines and certification programs that help ensure plastic products are compatible with existing recycling systems, supporting material recovery across the plastics value chain.

Bumby Wool
Bumby Wool is a Canadian business producing handcrafted wool garments using natural, renewable fibres. Founded with a focus on family care and practical everyday use, the company emphasizes durability, repairability, and low-waste production. Through products designed for repeated use and simple care, Bumby Wool supports families in adopting reusable alternatives, extending product lifecycles and contributing to reduced textile waste.

Creative ReUse Calgary
Creative Reuse Calgary is a social enterprise that diverts usable materials from landfill by redistributing them for creative and educational use. Through the Creative Reuse Project, surplus materials from retail, industrial, and commercial sources are re-circulated to schools, early learning centres, artists, families, and individuals. Inspired by the ReMida model in Italy, their approach supports material reuse and access to creative resources.

Empringham Disposal
Empringham Disposal provides waste management and recycling services, supporting residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Their operations emphasize responsible collection, sorting, and diversion practices, contributing to improved material recovery and waste reduction within the communities they serve.

Environment Lethbridge
Environment Lethbridge connects community members with programs, resources, and education to support local sustainability initiatives. Their work includes Repair Cafés, Reuse Rendezvous, and sharing networks that keep materials in use. Programs such as WasteLess, Seedy Saturday, Green Your Everyday, and the Share & Repair directory (GreenYQL) provide practical opportunities for community participation.

Grey is Green (Pnewko)
Grey is Green is a Canadian company focused on transforming hard-to-recycle plastics into durable, usable products. Through proprietary processes, they convert post-consumer plastic waste into materials for applications such as landscaping and construction, contributing to landfill diversion and value recovery.

Kyle Plante-Jenkins (Individual Member)
Kyle Plante-Jenkins joins the RCA as an individual member with an interest in advancing circular economy principles. Individual members contribute to RCA’s network through knowledge exchange, sector engagement, and support for sustainable materials management initiatives.
